  1. it is potentially an assault. it is patronisiing and disempowering. It is illegal. It robs them of autonomy. It is deceptive. Some of these are not valid if the person is not mentally competent or is a ward of the state or is a minor.

  2. That's there personal choice.

  3. If you are referring to an adult, then unless the person is under a section of the mental health act or you have Power Of  Attorney you can't make anyone have medication. You would be far better off finding out why they are not wanting to take it themselves and trying to find a way round their reservations about taking it. I am sure its different with your own children (who are under age and under your care). Just imagine the loss of trust if the person found the medication in their food or found out you'd been giving it to them against their knowledge. They would never trust you again.

  4. u are helping as long as it will not affect his health...it would be not helping if u put it there for a negative purpose..i know ur just concerned since of course u want him/her to take his/her meds..so if it wouldn't harm..then go for it..it is for his/her own good anyway.. :D

  5. No.  You're really not helping them out.  You are actually infringing on their rights as adults by doing that.
