  1. Usually yes, or they wouldn't have to reitterate it.

  2. You never know. People can lie about telling the truth and then lie some more and even lie detectors are reliable.

  3. What an interesting question.  My answer would be to check your gut.  If the person that is saying this to you gives you a gut feeling, they probably mean the opposite of what they say.  Trust your instinct, it's there for a reason.

  4. They are telling the truth about lying. If they say they are telling the truth, than they are.

  5. umm who knows. we would have to be there.

  6. OK, if they admit to being a lyer, does it really matter?  I guess it would depend on what type of relationship you have with this individual.  If it is something that would affect you emotionally, professionally, or financially, then I wouldn't waste my time with this one... but if its just a casual relationship and the info they give won't be used by you in anyway, then just enjoy their company without expectation.

Now, its not so clear on the other one when they say "I am telling the truth" because maybe they are sensing your doubt.  Whether you believe them or not will have to be something you decide based on how well you know them.

I am sure with time you will be able to identify those that lie from those that tell you the truth.

I hope I was able to help. Take care!
