If a person wants to sue someone for injury surely they should have to prove that they did injure themselves?

  1. In the US, the person that is injured on the job is entitled to workers compensation benefits that pay for the medical bills and loss of income, and is compensated for pain and suffering if any occurred. Also he gets a check each week from workers comp. until he is able to go back to work.


  2. I used to be a milkman. I once slipped on someones step exactly like that one. I fell on bottles and nearly cut my thumb in half. I lost a lot of blood.

    It was avoidable, but customers should be made aware of their responsibilities. The home owner's house insurance should cover the liability, provided they have one.
