  1. The person who hit the ball that was going out gets the point.

  2. If you wish the ball to be judged "out" you must wait until the ball is clearly off the table before contacting it with your paddle or any part of your body or the clothes you are wearing. If you do not the point goes to your opponent.

  3. if the person who hits it when it is off the table gets it to the other side of the table, it keeps the game going like nothing happened. it is ok to hit the ball if it doesnt hit the table. if he hits it and makes it on the other side of the table and they miss it, it is the guys point that hit it when it was off the table, cuz he kept it in play and the other guy then messed up.

  4. It depends on what happens after the other player hit it.  If it he hits it back onto the table (on the other side), then it's still in play.  If he didn't get back to the other side, then the other player scores, like always.

Depending on the people playing, it's also somewhat common that if the ball is clearly hit well off the table, the person who hit it off the table would be at fault.

  5. the last person to touch the ball before it goes out  does not get the point. if the ball is going out and a player saves it you just play on
