  1. Normally, yes.. if the ball hits you and goes over it's your opponents point. HOwever, if the ball hits your racquet and goes over when it's not in your hand, it's also your opponents point. This could be tricky, cause some times it's okay, so i think if you have a question. ask an official or redo the point.

  2. Simple answer is YES.

That's why coaches always say aim at their feet, legs, right hip or right shoulder (on a right hander) especially in doubles. Not only is it a tougher shot for that returner but if the ball touches them the point is over even if the partner gets to it and hits it over.

  3. yes..

  4. If the ball hits your opponent its your point. If the ball hits you its your opponents point.

  5. Yes, it's considered a let ......and if the server hits either player on the receiving side before the ball bounces...the server gets the point.

  6. Yes the person hit loses the point.  Being a doubles player, I've had plenty of experience with this.  Coaches, especially in high school, encourage you to aim for the opponent at the net because it is an automatic point for you if it hits them.  It is like hitting your racquet on the net, you lose the point.  Hope this helps!!!!
