  1. Since they usually say "By the power vested in me by the state of ________" I would say maybe not, but whoever is the ordained person should know the answer to that question. Wait. My dad is a preacher, lemme ask him...

    He said as far as he knows ordained is ordained no matter the state. He says they should be able to. He's is ordained and performs weddings, so I think he's right.


  2. You need to check the requirements of the State of Arkansas.  Usually the Secretary of State which is located in the capitol.

    Most states allow clergy to cross state lines, something judges, notaries & JP's can't do.

    But here in Ohio not only must you be ordained, you must also be licensed by the State.  Therefore a clergy cannot perform a ceremony here by virtue of the fact that they're clergy.
