  1. yes. It's all about psycology!! like the previous answer said it's a mind trick.

  2. No because it isn't a big difference. like 10 cent tax

  3. I agree with the first answerer, I always look at $99.99 as $99, even when I know its a penny away from $100. But really, nothing is ever a flat $100 any more. But if it was, I'd still buy it.

  4. Yes, I would be less inclined to buy the $100 item.

  5. I would be a lot less inclined to buy the item.

It's mind control I tell you!

  6. yes, lol  its alll in ur head

  7. Thing you need to remember with price tricking is that people who look at the 99.95, remember it as $99. Not $100.  That is the whole strategy to trick your mind into remembering it lower than it is.

  8. no i would be more inclined to buy the expensive one because a little price difference can make a big gap. most marketers use this strategy to sell their product because the customer thinks that the expensive item will tend to b more qualified than the cheaper one. but there are relevant  factors that come in while selling the product such as, what is your customer value and satisfaction, your dominance in market share and customer equity and like others.
