  1. It is highly, highly unlikely that a person could make a peron fly from a punch like in the movies. Most good punches leave the energy inside the body, that is what makes them so effective and devestating. If a person were to punch with the intent of creating space or distance between himself and his opponent or attacker (think of a "pushing punch"), the most he could expect is about a meter or two. And at that they are not going to fly back and be flattened. They would either be knocked directly over, or if they stayed on their feet, would stutter step back.

It is conceivable, however unlikely, that if you had a really, really large person punching a really small person that you could get them to fly back. However most punches, even upper cuts make the person fall right back or if they maintain their feet to stagger step back about a meter or so.

  2. If the person is hit in the chin and flies, that means the person has a very strong chin but that's not really possible. Most of the time, if you get hit with that kind of force, your head would be forced to look up and possibly break the neck if it's weak. In my opinion, it's not possible to go through the opponent but it might kill them.

  3. Don't you just love hollywood.

  4. Depends how that person his hit.  I saw a guy get hit and fly over a pool table once.  He cleared the WHOLE table!  He got hit really hard though with an uppercut.  I don't think this was something you'd see every day...but it is possible.  Most people I've seen get hit fall backwards or collapse straight to the ground.

  5. Well considering the most powerful and prolific punchers are boxers.

And Mike Tyson is considered one of the hardest punchers of all time. Judging by that.

I have seen fighters lifted a few inches off their feet by punches, or very hard knees, from solid professionals.

So it is HIGHLY unlikely that someone is going to fly a few meters high, or even a foot or more from a punch.

The most I have seen is a few inches (4 to 6) and that was from Mike Tyson drilling some fatty tomato can in the guts.

I have seen other guys drive guys up a few inches with knees.

I have never seen someone fly through the air from a punch.

I have seen people be knocked backwards a few feet from lunging kicks. But that is distinctly different from being lifted in the air.

Also Mike Tyson uppercutted a lot of guys, they never flew, just their necks snapped back and they dropped backwards.

So the answer to your question would be no, since punches or kicks can't do that.

    Gravity is a h**l of a thing.

If it was possible in real life (and it is in some cases) generally it depends on where you are being hit. But people flew several meters after being hit by a car. However smaller surface area.. lighter weight, etc.

Essentially there is just no way possible for this to happen, and if someone did have that power, most of it would be absorbed by the body, not go through them and they may be lifted a little more than usual.

    But several meters... h**l no.
