  1. If your rabbit licks you, then it's a definite sign of affection and it means your bunny loves you.

  2. know one knows for sure

  3. i'd love to know that one as well, you just cant seem to tell , lol.

  4. My first rabbit was a French Lop and she was so cool, she would hop around after me and l**k my hands and she would cozy up with me and just lay there forever letting me pet her.  The last rabbit we had was a mini rex and we had him from a tiny baby.  I don't know if this is trust or affection but he would lay on his back in my hand and just let me pet him and he would just fall asleep like that.  Such a cutie.

I thought this link was kind of neat about speaking rabbit and talking about how they show affection and stuff.

  5. no one really knows

  6. I think the question would be does your bunny 'trust' you.  The definition of human 'love' and bunny 'love'  are very different.

When bunny climbs into your lap while you're sitting on the floor, when he is content to curl up and go to sleep there, or sit next to you.  When bunny come to you when you walk in the room, or open his cage. When he nuzzles your hand for attention.  When bunny makes his little grunty, purry sounds of contentment, that's when you know that he trusts you. And trust to an animal, especially a prey animal is equivalent to what we call love.

Conversely, bunnies don't hate either.  If he bites you, runs from you, hides from you, well, that is because he doesn't 'trust' you.  He doesn't feel safe with you and feels he must fight or flee.
