Question:

If a resort says "all inclusive" does that include alcohol?

In the description it says free- meals, drinks, activities, tips and tax. Does that mean alcohol drinks and all meals? Thank You!

  2. If it says "drinks" then yes it does, but beware this is only a "deal" if you like mixed drinks. The alcohol that will be available will be only the very cheapest variety - only Mexican produced vodka, rum, brandy, and the very cheapest rotgut scotch and tequila, there will probably be no gin or Bourbon available. If you want "premium brand" drinks you will pay the normal (high) price for them.

    Remember "all-inclusive" while it does mean that yes, you can drink till you pass out, WHAT you can drink is determined by the hotel! (a scotch and soda IS included but NOT a Chivas Regal...)

    There are "all-inclusive" hotels which do include "premium brands" in their package, but they are very expensive places ($500 and up per day). It is wise to check out just what is included in your package, you can usually check this out on the Internet....

  4. All inclusive means all inclusive.  You can get as much of anything you want.

    Alcohol is always slightly watered down
