what will happen to that scholarship?

It's 3,000 and is renewable but my daddy works at the college so I get full tuition anyway.

Could they refund that money to me and allow me to use it from my bank account, like for books and supplies?

I REALLY need money for books, supplies and fees. I don't want to take out a loan. Please help!!

  1. Then the scholarship will likely be sent back to the funding agency (or never sent in the first place).  If it is limited to tuition only, then you can't use it for books or supplies and it will not be sent to you unless you can call them and try to convince them otherwise.

You could call and ask, but "Daddy's work is already paying for it." probably would not be a very compelling argument.  Dry a different angle.

  2. it usually depends on the organization that the scholarship comes from....if you contact them they might be willing to apply it to room and board...mealplan...and books...you just have to contact them and explain your situation...

  3. You should contact them they might pay for your books but only if you pay first then send them the reciepts
