  1. No, just get the right one.

  2. Being a waitress, it depends on the food item. If it's something little like french fries or a salad, then yes, you should keep it. If the server gives you a steak or something big, then that server has her head up her ---. And she shouldn't be waitressing!

I work with a waitress like that, and it's scary. You can't take food off of a table after the people have breathed on it!!!

  3. no

just send back the order and get the right one

  4. You should be allowed to eat it because after they put it on your table they can't take it to another table so it would just be thrown away and it would be ridiculous to make you pay for their mistake so it should definitely be free.

  5. "whatever it takes to get free stuff"

Thats why everything is so expensive. That attitude.

No, you don't benefit when someone else makes a mistake.

  6. It would be nice.

  7. no you should send it back

  8. If you do not send the food presented in error back but go ahead and eat it, you are expected to pay for it.

  9. No, we have problems with this where i work. People come in and order a sandwich, then say they didn't order it. They expect to be able to keep the food that was a "mistake" and to get the "right" sandwich at no extra cost. That is why if people come in and say this blah blah isn't what i ordered, I ordered a blah blah we either take back "messed up" sandwich, even though were just going to throw it away and give them free of cost what they ordered, or if they already ate it before they realized and want a new sandwich we make them pay. Even if it was a genuine mistake, i don't think you should profit off it, its just not good ethics
