  1. incase a hurricane comes or the power goes out or if for some reason they DO need to close. In case of emergency.  


  2. Because every 4th year, they have a day off.

  3. the real question is: why have doors at all??

  8. No shop in England does this.  They are not allowed by law.  They have to shut for a certain amount of time each week.  24/7 Tescos shuts at 4 on Sundays - they are required by law to do so......

  9. I would think that one point they may need to lock the doors to do inventory, money issues, and cleaning.
