If a shot struck the volleyer's racket so hard?

that the ball actually knock the racket loose, and the ball drop over the net and become a perfect drop shot.

1. the point won by the volleyer?

2. can the opponent ask for a play let due to the dropped racket distraction?

  1. I think you would win the point. Because it still made it in, and the opponent didn't hit it over the net.  


  2. The point would be won by the "volleyer" because it actually touched his racket, if it would have been his body, it would not count.

    You cant really call a distraction since you yourself called it a "perfect drop shot," which I assume you would not have gotten to either way. Additionally, it was unintentional.

  3. The shot is won by the volleyer. According to the rules, a distraction by the other player has to be an intentional movement. Or a freak accident.
