lot faster does that mean it's dead, or the batteries are too old?

The brand is "Maxell" it says, P2000 & P2001 on the back

  1. even rechargable batteries have a lifespan. based on the number of times charged and the general way they are used. if they charge too quickly, too slowly, or just die right off the bat then the batteries have reached their day.


  2. Rechargeable batteries will wear out after a while even if they're properly handled. You've probably saved a bundle over the cost of regular batteries by now, it's okay to get new ones.
