If a strand of wet hair gets into a persons eye will it make it red just in that one spot?

my child got out of the bath one night went to bed , then a long strand of her hair ran across her eyeball .....

it does not seem to bother her at all , she does not rub , scratch , or cry about it ......

will this go away soon its been 2 full days .....

I don't think there would be anything major that can happen to her eyes. It might hurt a little, but that's it.
