  1. as you have a metric and imperial measurement in your question, try this 1609 metres =1 mile

    divide 50 into 1609= 32.18

    32.18 x 22   =707.96 sec.-/ 60=11.80 for the complete swim

    1 hour/ 11.80=  5.08 miles per hour

  2. 50m/ 22 seconds

    times 20

    1000m/ 440

    136.36meters/ minute

    2.27m/s

    8172/ hour

    8.172/hour

    hes travelling

    8.172meters/hour

  3. Find how many second in an hour:

    60 x 60 = 3600

    50 / 22 = 2.272 meters per second

    and 3600 x 2.272

= 8181.8 total meters swim in an hour

    1 mile = 1600 meters(about)

    So, divide 8181.8 by 1600

    = 5.1136 miles per hour
