If the surgery was done a while ago and she is just going for a regular check up or physical, does her family doctor see she got the surgery; will he know?

  1. it depends on if there are scares...?

  2. The only way the Dr. would "see" is if he/she saw the scars. A regular check-up/physical won't usually require the Dr. to look close enough to see these small scars. You will have a gown on and they don't scan your skin close enough to look for this. good luck.

  3. It will be on all your medical records so yes they will know.

  4. Yeah... Liposuction basically just takes your fat from you, though you will still be unhealthy in the inside as you were fat. Also your body wont be used to all that weight going aways so sudden so your body will gain weight faster until it gets to what it was before. If you want to lose weight i suggest you simply lay of the unhealthy food such as junk food. Also exercise also.

  5. fatty

  6. The scars will be there, of course, but they're small.

If you withhold information from your doctor, you're jeopardizing your care, and risk being dismissed from that doctor's care.  We don't like it when patients lie to us.

There are quite a few doctors who have a low threshold for firing patients.  If you're willing to lie about that, what other information are you going to lie about?

  7. yes, especially if there is scaring

and it will show up on all her medical records

  8. first of all, i dunno why a teen would get lypo but it sounds like you already have so nevermind

i would assume that the surgery is in your medical record (which he would have access to), otherwise if there is a scar or something noticeable he would probably figure it out
