If a telemarketer giving away trips to Las Vegas..?

Question

If a telemarketer giving away trips to Las Vegas for only 90 minutes of your time at a presentation, how would this telemarketer make you want to attend this presentation or be interested? How would you want he/she to start of the conversation when they first call you?

I am a telemarketer who is new to the game and I want to know the opinions of others.

My in-laws were just took one of those 90 minutes tours last week.  They told the lady up front that they were not going to buy any more time shares and she got mad but made them go on the 90 minute tour anyway.  It took over 3 hours.  

I went on one of those tours once myself.  After the 90 minutes I asked them to take me and my wife back to our car.  After another 90 minutes my wife had to tell them that she was going to call the police and charge them with kidnapping if they didn't take us back to our car immediately.  

Be sure to know what you are getting into, take one of those tours yourself first but don't tell them you are a telemarketer, act like a customer.  Then decide if that is the job for you.
