does that mean that history doesn't just happen and then go away, but on some plane is still occuring? like right now, on some plane, Martin Luther King,Jr. is still about to give his "I Have A Dream" speech, or The American Revolution is about to begin, or the Civil War is going on?

  1. yes

  2. history is always happening every single day :D

thats what makes everyday special and unique

  3. No.  The grandfather paradox assures us that you cannot alter this present by going back in the past.

If you manage to travel back in time, any changes you make will be their own individual timeline.  You touch on it in your question.  If you went back to the point where MLK was speaking, that timeline would forever change but ours would continue to exist without you in it.

  4. perfect example to contradict the quantum theory!

  5. Well you can not neccesarily say that history is still happening.  I think that you have a good imagination.  I can tell you though that history tends to repeat itself!  Good luck on getting your anwsers!

  6. You have given a very good description of why time machines are impossible.

  7. that is a good question... and i have no idea!! lol
