If a tornado or a bad storm breaks a limb off your tree and blows it onto your neighbor's roof...?

...causing bad damage to their roof, are you legally bound to pay for it? (This is Texas, if that is relevant).

  1. No, you shouldn't have to pay anything; they should have insurance to cover such problems.  It's not your fault it happened.  


  2. Not sure if Texas is any different, but in most places it is considered "an act of God" and you are not liable.
