  1. a minute

  2. 2 minutes. 60 mph is basically 1 mile per minute so it would take 1 minute to completely enter the tunnel and a minute to completely exit.

  3. For the intire train to pass through the tunnel it would have to drive 2 miles.

    2 miles at 60 miles/h is ... 2/60 hours = 2 minutes

  4. Since the back of the train is 1 mile away from the start of the tunnel, then it needs 1 min. to get to the start of the tunnel.

1 more min. to get through the tunnel.

so 2 min. for the train to clear the tunnel.

  5. 2 min?

  6. answer is 2 minutes for train to completely pass through tunnel aminute for frionmt to go through and a minute for back to go through

  7. One minute...I think. I'm so bad at math but this seems like it should be some super-obvious thing. One minute. That's my answer. The train would go straight through (the train is a mile long) the tunnel (also a mile long)...??

  8. 6 minutes

  9. 2 minutes

  10. 1 minute front to back

  11. 1 minute. 60 miles in an hour. 60 minutes in an hour. So 1 minute for a 1-mile train.

  12. 1 min and 1 sec.
