say you are traveling in your car, and you stop for gas, and a wasp flies in your car. you don't notice and continue to drive for 50 miles, and stop again, and the wasp flies out of your car.

Is it doomed to a horrible and lonely death? will it just flie around lost until it dies?

  1. I had a wasp in my car today actually and when it landed, i killed it. so to answer your question, yes, if a wasp or a bee rides in my car, it will die!

  2. If it is a solitary wasp it will likely do okay.  A social wasp or bee will be unable to make it back to its nest so will die unfulfilled.  I don't know the range of their flying ability, but the bees do have some understanding of direction to their hive.
