If a woman is 2-4 weeks pregnant, is there anyway to get rid of the baby other than by abortion?

one of my close friends believes shes pregnant and shes only 14 turning 15 soon. she thinks she may be pregnant because she claims to feel some of the symptoms. she knows she cant keep it and i agree. she only wants an abortion as a last resort so im wondering if theres any other way.

also, if she was to get an abortion, does she need an adult with her? im not sure if it matters on the state or country, but how can it be done in NY?

If she wants an abortion she will have to go to talk to a judge and prove she is mature enough to make her own decision or its in her best interests. thats what i had to do.  and you can't get rid of it any other way but abortion.

she should go to a doctor,  there is a pill she can take if its early on, or some vacuum thing that they do that is less surgical

Nope.. But if she's only having symptoms then she needs to get tested. And not to be mean.. but I am a mother of 2 and if you can't deal with what happens than your friend shouldn't be having s*x. Why KILL an innocent life for something that she could've prevented until she was ready for it. Especially in a state like NY. I feel for her if she is pregnant but she needs to either keep it or even have it and give it up for adoption there are plenty of families out there who can't have kids and would love to adopt but PLEASE I beg you don't let her kill that baby.

She should take responsibilities  for her actions. She knew if she had s*x there was a chance she could get pregonent.  She should have the baby and give it up to adoptions.

Look.There are women who are like 10 weeks and have a miscarriage by accident and never realize they ever were pregnant until they see there having a more than usual major heavy period.And freak out.Try doing alot of active activities.Run for like 100hours.Also,any free clinic would do it without parental consent becouse they want to prevent children having children.Tell her not to feel guilty she is way to young,and mentally undeveloped to deal with a child.

Adoption would be the only other way to "get rid" of the baby.

She can talk to her pediatrician or her school counselor.  They cannot legally share the contents of that conversation with anyone.

If your friend is pregnant, she needs to talk to an adult.  If abortion is what she wants to do, then she needs to make sure she's pregnant first (pregnancy tests are a buck at the dollar store)..then she needs to take care of this the right way and seek medical attention...there aren't really any other options.  And yes, she would need an adult to take her...she can't just have a procedure like that done behind her parents back.  Tell your friend that if she's a big enough girl to lay down with a man at 14-(disgusting in my opinion) then she needs to be a big girl and deal with her adult choice LIKE an adult.  Next time maybe she'll be smart enough to use protection or even better-maybe she'll wait until she's an adult herself before she engages in situations she shouldn't be in to begin with.  My GOD, why are you children in such a hurry to grow up?

yourself of the baby, but they're not SAFE for the mother. If you really want to have an abortion, Go to a family planning clinic, or to a doctor.

Terminating a fetus after the egg has been fertilized and implanted IS abortion...regardless if it's done in a doctor's office or at home.

She's not having symptoms if she's only 2-4 weeks pregnant, it take at least 8 weeks. She should take a test ASAP.
