If a worksheet asks for nouns, do pronouns count?

im not sure if i should include she, he, etc... as nouns

  2. i don't think pronouns are actually nouns

    they aren't really the things we "see and touch"

    but it would depend on your teacher. once my teacher accepted pronouns as nouns. but most wouldnt accept them.

  4. No. If pronouns were wanted that should have been stated on the worksheet. For example,  the word "he" is not the same as "George".

  5. Nope.  Pronouns are a whole separate category.

    If the teacher asked for the subjects or the objects, then both nouns and pronouns would count.

  6. If your teacher wasn't clear, I would write the pronouns in a separate section with a little note saying you understand they're pronouns & you weren't sure whether they were supposed to be included with the "regular" nouns.
