  1. there may be some back alley abortions if abortion was abolished, yes, however I can guarantee 4,000 babies a day would not be aborted- because women would be scared to go to these "clinics"- the answerer who said there would be more crimes and deaths, and who would adopt them all? I have an answer for you- aren't 4,000 deaths a day by abortion a crime? We are not responsible to adopt every child that is saved by abortion- however, I adopted 2 and am adopted myself- here are 3 people that were not aborted- and I can tell at least the birth moms are our two children were trying to be convinced to abort by family and friends. I counseled women for over 10 years and I can tell you something- adoption rates have dropped since abortion was made legal- the majority of the 100's of women that I have counseled have said things like "I will abort , because I cannot carry to term and give away a child"- and they know that they could not raise their baby- so their only choices are abort or adopt.

  2. I personally think that adoptions would rise. (shoot me with the thumbs people)

I dont agree that abortion has a great deal to do with adoption, but it does fit in somewhere, its just people are too stupid to actually see that.

I Hope that no women ever has to go through a backalley abortion! I also hope that they dont abolish adoption. It would be ludacris to even do that!!

    *yawn* at your american government.

  3. You'd see more babies in back allies. By trash cans. o_o

  4. What about the third option...people raising their own children?  I think maybe all three options would rise, but I also think the largest rise would be in mom's keeping their babies.

  5. You would just have woman doing it themselves which is not wise since it could result in the death of the woman. They would have it down by doctors or somebody who was willing to do it and would probably charge a hefty fee for it.

Just look at Prohibition this did not stop people from making Alcoholic beverages are drinking it. Marijauna is illegal in most places in the USA, except the few states that allow it for medical reasons,  yet people still get and smoke it.

People will always get around things that are not allowed, and unless their caught they’ve gotten away with it.

  6. There would be more backdoor docs providing abortions, even when abortons were illegal, they were still "available" if you know who to ask. My aunt told me about an abortion she had, when she got pregnant while on a dangerous drug for a blood disorder (it think it was blood thinners and being pregnant increased her risk of clot).

Her own doc refered her to a "dentist" who could "help" her. You'll find do it yourself kits on ebay.

  7. Of course there would continue to be back alley abortions.  Some women would find a way, it would be easier for the rich with poor women finding it more difficult to obtain a safe abortion.

Since the birth rate would increase, I would tend to think adoptions and children in foster care would show also show an increase.

  8. abortion CAN NOT be abolished, nobody can be forced to do something they can't, and NO ADOPTION  will not increase, how can anyone carry a baby for 9 MONTHS  and then give it up like if it was a piece of s hit ???

  9. We all know the sad answer to that. We'd also see the babies' Mothers in the same alleys... Back alley abortions are dangerous to the Mom as well.

  10. I think they both would rise many people know the risk of illegal on clean abortions and may choose adoption

  11. I agree with answer one, if abortion were abolished we would have more crime and more deaths. Plus there would be alot of babies and no where to put them. Are you going adopt them?

  12. My mom told me a story about illegal abortions in the 60's gruesome back alley stuff with woman dying because of coat hanger incidents and dirty supplies if they saw a "Dr" i pray our society never comes to that decision
