I've wondered this for so long, since they say we as adults should wear daily sunscreen shouldnt babies and toddlers? All they make is that sticky spf 50+ stuff which of course I put on if we are out in the sun, at the pool etc. Do they make or suggest a lower less sticky spf for daily wear?

  1. I use the spray on kind.  Not sticky at all.  It is necessary when out in the sun.  We do not use for errands.

  2. they sell sticks of sunscreen that you can keep in your purse or bag, I find them very convenient, you just rub it all over your child's face and they have children ones that are higher SPF and safe for them.

  3. Yes, they should. They make baby sunscreen. That is what I put on my kids.

  4. Yes, there skin is more delecate and they have tones of baby block out there

  5. Children and toddlers need sunscreen even more than adults that is why they make so many choices for children and babies.  Infants 6 months and up should have sunscreen applied every 1-2 hrs (depending on if they are swimming or not) and waterproof is best with a good SPF.  They need it on their whole bodies and infants and toddlers like adults should wear hats to prevent scalp burn or have sunscreen applied the their scalp as well.  Waterbabies is a very common brand used for infants and toddlers.

  6. Babies under 6 months should not...   But, definitely, kids who are out in the sun a lot should wear it. Just make sure you choose a safe one--there are so many chemicals in them!

Aveeno and California Baby make some that are pretty safe.
