  1. Nope.  Ever hear that old saying "you pays your money and takes your chances".

  2. depends upon the policy of the airline and the restrictions of your ticket. check the airline/travel agency if the difference is refundable

  3. You are funny!  So if the fare increased after you bought the ticket, would you be willing to pay extra?  I don't think so.

  4. Most probably NOT.

But if the difference is really huge, maybe you could refund (if refundable at all) your ticket and purchase a new cheaper one. Just make sure that the refund fee is not larger than the difference between the two tickets, because naturally you'll be a at a loss.

  5. Actually the answer is more of an it depends...

1> The class of ticket will have an effect.  If the ticket is non-changeable, there is nothing you can do..

2>  If the ticket is changeable but not refundable, you can request a change.  There will be a change fee (usually between $50-$100).  If the difference is more than the change fee, you will be credited the difference.

3>  If the ticket is fully refundable (rare), you can just cancel and rebook at the lower price.

  6. This happened to me two years ago with Delta when the fare dropped by 175 dollars.  I called the airlines and told them the what happened and they transferred me to someone that could help.  First because I was changing the ticket (to them I was changing it, but in all honestly I was still on the same flight), they subtracted 75 dollars for the the change fee.  Then the extra 100 dollars I was given a voucher for via mail for 100 dollars to use within a year for another delta flight.  However, little did I know to actually use this flight change voucher was so inconvenient that i never got to use it.  I could not use it when booking on-line.  When I called  delta to have them book my flight and use the voucher for some of the fare, they told me I couldn't use it their either.  I was shocked, they said I could only use the voucher if I went the airport and booked the flight at the Delta counter.  Needless to say, i didn't go through all that trouble.  Its worth a shot, but from experience I would just chalk it up as bad luck and move on.   Im sure every airline handles it different, but thats what happend to me.  Good Luck
