1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place.

Okay, here are the racehorses. Secretariat, Sea Biscuit, and Man O' War. These are the greatest race horses of all time. The legends! Anyway, who would win if they were all in the prime of their racing careers, and tell me the order that they would come in.

  1. I think Man O War, Seabiscuit and Secretariat! Man O War once won a race by 100 lengths. Although Secretariat's 1973 Belmont Stakes was pretty amazing, Seabiscuit won tougher competitions against the likes of War Admiral (1938 Triple Crown winner) and Rosemont. Secretariat never defeated a champion, unlike Seabiscuit. Seabiscuit had true guts and grit. I'm not saying Secretariat didn't have guts or anything. Secretariat was an amazing horse and everyone knew it. Seabiscuit was an amazing horse that could beat the champions or low class claimers.

As for Man O War. Man O War had true stamina to win by 100 lengths. The only time he got beat was ironically by a horse called Upset. Man O War strides were huge. They were supposingly 28 feet between each stride.

Secretariat was an amazing horse that was built like a machine. He could switch into gears no one ever could think of. The only times he got beat was when he wasn't feeling well or something like that. When Secretariat won his first race, Lucien Laurin said "He should never be beaten." Secretariat was the horse that ended the 25 year Triple Crown drought. He was the horse that everyone believed could do it. He was a true champion.

  2. Secretariat, Man O'War, Seabiscuit.

Secretariat is rated as the best American horse of the 20th Century (2nd best horse across the world in the 20th Century, with Sea Bird ranked in 1st).

Man O'War is rated the 7th best American horse and 21st best horse in the world.

Seabiscuit does not make the top 100 horses in the world and is only 68th on the American list.

These ratings were compiled by experts, and we are not knowledable enough to dispute their findings.

  3. I would go with Sea Buscuit, Secretatriet, and the Man O' War

  4. My heart says Secretariat, Man O'War, Seabiscuit.

But after seeing the comparison in strides I would have to grudgingly say Man O'War, Secretariat, Seabiscuit. Man O'War's stride was just remarkable! They have the comparison laid out at the Kentucky Horse park.

  5. Sea Biscuit and Secretariat would each break alertly and  Man O' War would be behind at least 2 lengths 50 yards from the gate.

Sea Biscuit and Secretariat would engage for about a 1/2 mile and then SB would spit out the bit. By this time MOW would be about 10 lengths behind.  Secretariat would relax on the lead and win by a city block. MOW would pass the exhausted SB but would be too far back to be a real threat.

  6. seabisciut secritatiat man o war

  7. Ruffian would beat all there butts
