If we ate and drank only those two things why would we still be hungry? A vitamin in the morning, one in the afternoon, and another at night along with water throughout the day. I'd like to diet for about 3 months and was just curious why this wouldn't work? or would it?

  1. Well your body needs other things besides water and vitamins. It needs iron that you get from meat. Your body, even though it doesn't seem like it, needs some sugar. not too much though cuz that turns into bad things like fat. The sugar turns into energy that you need to being active. You also need protien and fibers from grain and vegies. Stuff like that

  2. Who told you that? That's bunk.

  3. 1.  You would still be hungry because vitamins are small in size and our stomachs need to more to satisfy hunger.

    2.  The reason it wouldn't work is because, as previously stated, you would be hungry all the time. Also another underlining factor in the vitamin only diet is that to much vitamin can be toxic.

    3.    The answer to the last question stated is NO.  Please refer to numbers 1 and 2 for reasons why.

    4.   I'm pretty sure that You and I are the only ones who can read.

  4. Your assumption is wrong. You need protein to maintain body mass from

    physical activity.

If, however, you remained really inactive, you could survive quite some time on the diet you describe.

  5. your body needs a decent amount of healthy oils or youll become diabetic

  6. all you need is a lot of protein and less carbo and heaps of water, but if you exercise, you still need of protein, heaps of carbo and lots of water and don't forget your fruits, no junk food!!!!

  7. Vitamins have no energy producing nutrients (protein, carbohydrate, fat).  Make a vitamin that contains these in sufficient quantity and you'll be on your way to living on vitamins and water.... enjoy it!

  8. No, it would not work, as your body needs calories as well for energy. Without it, your body will begin starving, and start storing fat off the next meal you eat.
