  1. All things can't sink into the oceans.  The highest estimate I have seen for predicted sea level rise due to melting ice caps and glaciers is 85 meters.  That would flood all the sea level coastlines, which includes many of the US major cities, and coastlines and some islands worldwide.  It won't happen all at once, though.  It is gradual melting due to Global Warming, which is due primarily to air pollution.

If it gets to that point, it may be irreversible.

  2. of course it would! Think about it: In a bathtub full of water, if you put something big inside it, then the water level goes up. It you take it out, it goes back to normal.

  3. I highly doubt the difference would be noticeable or even measureable.

  4. technically, yes.

the question you mean to ask is, would it be noticeable.

and that depends on what you mean by  'all things'?

keep in mind, that in many parts of the ocean there's more than a mile deep layer of "stuff" that's sunk.

on the other hand, is you're talking about ships that have sunk, then no, it would not be noticeable.

  5. yeah a ton
