If all tree's were destroyed would humans still be able to breath?

Prob a stupid question but hey im bored and i looked a tree outside my window and decided to ask lol =P do we actually need tree's to breath? or is it just some c**p my mum told me along time ago.

No. we wont be able to breathe. trees are the producers of oxygen as we produces carbon dioxides to them.. huge amount of carbon dioxide can kill us humans, so if the trees are gone and all in the air is carbon dioxides, then we wont have any future at all. it's death that is coming.

yeah you could still breathe. most of our oxygen is produced by micro plants in the oceans that cover 71% of the world.

you could probably get rich by going into the umbrella/sun shade business though.

One acre of green lawn grass puts out way more oxygen than one acre of tree`s, there is no such thing as a stupid question.

People would still have all of the other plants supplying them with oxygen. ;p But without trees, ecosystems would die off, causing all of the other plants to wither away and kick the bucket as well. THEN we'd wind up running out of air.....and food.....and every other plant or tree derived product.

yes they produce oxygen so go  hug a tree, or sit under one  and u can tell the diffference, ever climbed one and just sat on the branch, well that was knowing without why,have a good tree day

Mmm... tricky question, yes trees produe our oxegen but so do all other green plants, so iff you took away all the trees there would still be other plants creating oxegen so yes we would be able to breath but the inevitable global warming would most likey click in over night and we would all die anyhow! lol

trees do not only leave us oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide what is  poisonous to us.



they also make the climate ,

with precipitation they produce rain ,

The roots bring water to underground water courses that keep the rivers flowing

so no trees ,no rivers

they also produce soil ,

Absorb  heat during the day and release this at night regulating the temperature

so no trees

freezing nights and cooking hot days

not to speak of the shade from the branches as well as the shade from the clouds they make

a lot of animals live because of trees ,so no trees and only what lives in the desert would be left

Trees absorb wind ,so no trees and we would be in a very windy planet. with almost no sweet water to drink
