haha im pretty sure they are indestructable...i droped mine off my building (1 story) and it just got a crack...uhm butif it doens't call apple they usually will either a. fix it or b. pay for it...

Mine Survived. Just give it a few days to dry and the batter may be a little haywire for sometime after that but now it works fine. Cross your fingers if it's one with a hard drive though, I had a 2nd gen nano btw.

you can try taking the batteries out and laying everything out flat to air dry for a few days. sometimes it works. often you will end up having to get a new one. or! you might see if apple will help you out, if you got the in store insurance on it that will help. sorry about that. i know what it feels like, i lost a cell phone because of the same thing, my favorite one too. hope it is able to air out for you.
