Question:

If an Iguana is sitting in a room full of mirrors, what color does it change?

  1. Actually I am an Iguana owner and Iguanas do change color slightly.  When the Iguana gets into direct sunlight, its skin will change to a lighter hue of green with turquoise accents.  When the Iguana is out of the sun, the colors are more muted and dark.

    Also, if the Iguana is in a room full of mirrors he/she would think it is with other Iguanas and will do a mating dance where it will flare out its dew lap (under the chin) and bobble its head.  The Iguana may also get aggressive (if male) thinking other males are coming into its territory and will start hissing and slinging its tale in defense.


  2. It would stay the same color as it was before it went into the room unless there was light reflecting off of the mirrors.
