  1. It depends if their contract is guaranteed or if they have a buyout clause.  Most do not.  Only stars get that kind of treatment.


  2. if they had to pay the rest of the contract then that would be a guaranteed contract

  3. no they arent owed the remainder. that is why there is garenteed money in contracts so if the players are cut or something they still have money.

  4. Well the player is bought out for the rest of his remaining contract and get the money that he was promised in the remainder of his conmtract.

  5. nope... if cut they dont get anything as the contract is based on making the team and paid per week after that. If injured then yes unless cut from the roster and then a setelment is made on balance.

    Signing bonuses and guarenteed money not included.
