Hey I have a friend who is 21, I'm 15, and me and my girlfriend want to get a hotel room for a night. If he buys the room for a night or w/e, and he doesn't stay in it, but me and my girlfriend do, can he/we get in trouble? Is it easy for them to find out?

Strategies to work around it? More information please?

  1. your friend can get in a lot of trouble.and I'm sure your parents will kick your *** soooooooooooo don't do it

  2. They cant to anything about it. I used to work in a Holiday Inn and I know that a lot of parents would rent rooms for their teens for the same purpose that you might be using it for. As long as somebody who has a credit card checks you in your fine. Just don't get kicked out ;)

  3. I don't think you can get in trouble by the hotel..unless you do something stupid and get kicked out.

Make sure your parents know and are ok.

and I assume if your parents know and are ok with it,that they know the 21 year old and he's not just some guy you met, because if he's paying for the hotel..he WILL have access to the room...even if he said he's not staying.

  4. Don't! It's a bad idea. He could end up with a sexual predator charge.

  5. If they found out, you would get in trouble. But the chances of that are very small. If it is just for one night, you are not seen entering, your friend also does the check out in the morning and you are not seen leaving and of course you are not loud at night... you wont get caught. God knows I did it when I was your age and my daughter has done it just recently with me getting her the room.

  6. No you can not be alone. Your friend will be on the hook for anything that happens and should the people at the front desk see you and ask you where your staying you will have to tell them and you are not authorized to be in the room. If they need your friend for anything and he is not available he will get in trouble

  7. Probably can't get in trouble with the hotel but he can get in trouble with the law for "contributing...".  I'm assuming your/her parents wouldn't approve (or else they'd be getting the room for you).
