If an alternative fuel for oil was invented and it protected the environment completely....?

but lets say that it costs you to fill up the tank $50 with this new alternative fuel and it costs you to fill up your tank $35 dollars with normal gasoline. Will you still pay for the alternative even if it is much more expensive?

  1. It would be very hard to convince Americans that it is in their best interest to choose the environmentally safe fuel when there is a significant price difference. Right now, $50 to fill up sounds like a good deal......
