  1. Since it goes 35 miles in one hour a then divid both sides of the equation by 5.

you you will get therein one seventh of an hour

60/7 = number of mintes to get to your destination

  2. 5 mi / 35 m/h = 0.143 hour or 8.6 minutes

    .

  3. 5 miles at 35 miles /hour = 0.1428571 of an hour multipied by 60 minutes gets you 8 Minutes  and 34 seconds not allowing for starting and stopping times

  4. 8.57 minutes.

    Distance / speed = time

    Distance / time = speed

    time * speed = distance

  5. 7 minutes.

    just divide.
