  1. Supplementary Angles are any two angles that, when you add them, they equal 180º.

    Let "x" and "y" be angles, such that

    x + y = 180º

    Therefore, to find the supplement of "x", just solve for "y":

    x + y = 180º

    y = 180º - x (<==ANSWER!!)

    In other words:

    If the angle is x

    the supplement is (180º - x)

    Hope I helped!

  2. Do you know what the supplement of an angle is?  Or ever think of looking it up?  No, I didn't think so.

    Two angles are supplementary if their measures add up to 180.  So the supplement of x is just 180 - x.

  3. u know that the sum of supplementary angles is 180 degrees.

    so if one angle is x then the other angle is 180-x.
