If an animal eats insects and plants...does that make it an omnivore or a herbivore?

    Herbivores are vegetarians.


  2. It is definitely an omnivore.  It eats both animals (insects) and plants.  If it ate only plants it would be an herbivore, if it ate only meat it would be a carnivore. If it ate only insects it would be an insectivore.
