assuming that you put the eagle eggs on the hen nest.

Would the eagle know how to fly, will it wonder to itself when it saw an eagle flying in the sky

Or how about if it happen the other way around would the eagle eat the chick

  1. The moment that the eagle hatches and it sees the hen, it will assume the hen is its mother. When the eagle reaches the age when it is supposed to fly, it won't know how because the hens nest is on the ground. When it leaves the nest, it will have problems catching fish and other food since it can't fly. This could result in the eagle going to the last resort, eating its "mother". Thus answering your question of cannibalism of the eagle eating the chicken as plausable.

  2. Your what if scenario is implausible.  There is no way a chicken hen could raise any predatory bird.

  3. When an animal is raised as another animal it will only act like the parent.  You need to be careful doing this because the Eagle will not do well on a chickens diet.  they have to have meat to survive.  So it's up to you.  But yes they will live to gether.

  4. The hen would probably treat the eagle as her own chicks. And they will live happily ever after.
