  1. If there is smoke coming from an electric locomotive, I strongly suggest evacuating the passengers and crew from the train - after all, that isn't supposed to happen.

    we see this question at least once a week in here, the rest of the question was going to be what direction is the smoke blowing wasnt it??

    Unless the conductor was smoking his cigar or there was a brake sticking there wont be any smoke.
