For one thing I'm from Canada and if you had a cockroach infestation I'm pretty sure you would use it also, and I have tried natural ways to get the bugs out but they are not working.

  1. By the time you read this it will be OK

30 min is enough. If you have a strong smell, open the windows and air it out.

  2. If you truly value your health and your family's health then you would never use an insecticide-ever-period. They are poisons and toxins that have a negative effect on humans as well as family pets. I would hope that you had the windows open for maximum venilation. Americans are too quick to spray Raid or Black Flag. Why do so many Americans have cancer each year? I would argue that pesticides and insecticides have contributed mightily to cancer in general.
