conversely as well, if an object falls twice as fast, how many times further will it fall

    Or is it going by a ballistic trajectory?


  2. v_1 = a*t = at

    v_2 = a*2t  = 2at

    2at / (at) = 2 times faster

    x_1 = vt

    x_2 = 2vt (assuming it has the same amount of time to fall)

    2vt/(vt) = 2 times further (this is assuming the object isn't accelerating. for an object accelerating due to gravity, it depends on the time)

  3. well figure in gravity which is ten, so maybe 1.5 times as fast
