If something is 'implied' enough times, by enough people, do you start to believe it? Do you start to think "there must be some truth to it"- even if there is none?

  1. This is a basic trick to fool the weak of mind or the already brainwashed. It does not work if you are intelligent or well read.

Look at current events: The government reported that 9/11 was caused by super terrorist bin Laden and his guys with no help from Americans. A lie. The steel buildings collapsed due to fire. A lie. Sadam Hussen was the biggest threat to America. A lie. Iraq had weapons of mass destruction that they were going to use on America. A lie. We are winning the war on terrorism. A lie. We have fair elections in America and are better than other corrupt nations. A lie. Going to college guarantees you a well paying job. A lie. You will have a better life style than your parents. A lie. Obama and McCain can straighten this mess out immediately. A lie. Vaccines are good for you. A lie.  It goes on and on, unfortunately millions of people believe the lies and will not search for the truth so the system works perfectly.

  2. I believe so. It got me thinking about people with low self-esteem issues. I mean, maybe they got told when they were a kid that they were fat, so they look in the mirror and start to believe it. The next minute, you've gone from a perfectly healthy person into someone struggling with an eating disorder.

It's also like being a child. As a child you probably don't already have a firm belief so you're kind of neutral. Then your parents, family and friends keep repeating what they want you to believe over and over again, so that eventually you start to believe it and become like them.

I believe it is definitely possible that this could happen, and probably does happen for people of all ages.

  3. no.

just like how people sya God isnt real.

i know He is real, and i dont listen to those no brains

  4. No, I stand firm to what I believe in.

If I don't know either way then I do my own research and decide. There have only been a "few", very few, times I have been convinced otherwise ( and I based them times on fact and not someone's opinion).
