  1. We have various ways of keeping ourselves well - like eat vegetables and so forth.

For animals perhaps there's special herbs they eat when they're sick.  A dog eats grass and throws it up.  A horse tends to drink a great deal of water when they're sick.

Mostly when you see a sick animal, he lays somewhere quietly until he either dies or recovers.  With the healthcare system in this country we pretty much do the same thing.

  2. if animal gets sick his group totally abandons him, or may even attack him physically because they sense he is too weak to defend the pride or do the tasks they need.

For example it has been shown that a tiger who is very ill and cannot perform activities for survival, is attacked and killed by other tigers so that he is relieved of his misery.

Generally the animal recovers on his own or just dies being sick.

  3. It doesn't. It will survive or die.

  4. it can usually heal itself, but 5%of the time they wont survive.

  5. I know that house pets, like dogs ang cats, eat grass when there stomach is upset, the wild animals probably do that kind of stuff. Willow bark is like a natural asprin too.
