If animals......?

Question

If animals could talk would people still kill them and eat them?

Im a veggie and i realy dont see the point in killing animals for human needs anyway, but for those who eat meat could you kill or eat an animal if it was screaming for help?

Would it not just be like killing a human?

if animals could talk, yes i think we would still eat them. the reason we eat meat is because we NEED IT TO LIVE! if a person eat eggs, theyre still an omnivore.(a person that eats meat and veggies) and if a person does, they've got no room to preach about what we do wrong. eggs are unborn chickens. isnt that 10 TIMES WORSE THAN EATING AN ADULT CHICKEN!?

m a veggie too and i think killing animals to feed oneself is totally barbaric and cruel. n if ppl can eat a chicken or a goat in spite of its cries for mercy then i guess they pretty much wont care for its words for sympathy! anyway one thing m sure of is that this question definitely does not come under zoology!!

Uh not sure, chickens lay eggs all the time and they need the males to fertilize the eggs, we dont eat fertilized eggs because there would be a chick in there instead of a yolk. Im sure animals can understand each other and they still kill themselves.

Yes, because either way they taste yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe you people should realize that your yelling at humans to stop killing animals...yet....you should also be yelling at animals for killing each other. Why don't you stop them? Oh that's right, because if you told an animal to stop killing another animal, they would kill you, because they're animals and they don't care whether you live or die. Why should you care if THEY live or die?

Some animals do talk, but they still get eaten by humans. Parrots and Mynah birds are probably on someone's menu and even Ravens too, but not many people like to eat crow.

Sometimes people themselves are on the menu. There may still be some cannibalistic tribes in Papau New Guinea.

Humans are by nature xenophobic, pack hunting apes. Even amoungst our ape relatives, there is nothing quite as disturbing as a tresspassing stranger. Male chimps drive off intruders and will severly beat and even kill them if they manage to catch tresspassing male chimps. However, they don't eat them. The chimps will eat any infants in the troop they suspect they did not father, however.

Humans can eat vegetables but would eventually die of anemia if all they ate was plant material. This is because of a nutirent called vitamin B12. It is necessary for making hemoglobin in blood. Vitamin B12 is not found in green plants and most "vegetarians" supplement their diet with milk or eggs ocassionally. However, there is a way to break all dependance on animals. Spirulina is a blue green, photosynthetic bacteria which grows in hot soda lakes. It is rich in carotine and has more protein than steak. It is primarily what flamangos eat and is the reason their feathers are a vibrant pink color. Spirulina also is a source of vitamin B12. The only bad thing is that it tastes like the bottom of an old aquarium. On the other hand, I suspect a hamburger would probably taste like raw sewage to someone who had never eaten red meat before.
