Question:

If another Earth sized planet was 2 months behind in our orbital plane, how would it appear in our sky?

Would you be able to see it in the daytime sky? Would it appear as large as our moon, bigger, smaller - much smaller I would suspect. Thanks, this is Sci-Fi fiction research.

  2. It would be 60 degrees removed from us along the orbital path, which means it would be the same distance from us as the sun is. THat's a good bit further from us than Venus, which is another Earth-sized planet. So it would not be as big as venus. On the other hand, it might be as bright as Venus, since we see Venus as a crescent when it is close to us, while the other planet would appear nearly half phase.
