  1. Treat them as we do every other victim of Hurricanes or floods or fires.

  2. They are on their own, they live in an area that is prone to hurricanes and floods and then want the rest of the US to pay for it a second time....LMAO

  3. Protect them.

However when will we learn that areas like New Orleans will never be safe from such disasters.

Some places on this earth should not be build on in the first place.

I really like New Orleans but would never live there.

  4. i hope that they dont send them here.  we had enough of them last time.

we need to go out on the interstate  and put a big NO VACANCY sign at our exit.

  5. Katrina hit Mississippi, not Louisiana (New Orleans, specifically). The levees broke in LA. The "victims" will be housed in other states until they can go back, again. However, I am firm in my belief that the FEMA c**p shouldn't happen again. We wasted hundreds of millions of dollars on these people in 2005. Furthermore, I can say that because I live on the Gulf Coast. When Ivan devastated NW Florida and Alabama in 2004 - we didn't hardly get any FEMA aid, but when Katrina hit people were concerned about New Orleans (where the storm didn't even hit). Did you ever hear about the Mississippi coast? The MS coast was devastated by a hurricane and the tornado's that spin off of them. The levees broke in LA. We spent so much $$$ and what is there to show for it? NOLA was the biggest government fraud in history.

  6. Shelter them for a week, then bus them the h**l back to the site where they themselves will build New New Orleans, above sea level.

  7. the mayor said that they simply do not have the resources to rescue people who choose to stay like they did during Katrina. They are really trying to scare the residence into leaving, as they should!!!
