endangered specicies has been a hot topic for quite some time. I love animals and try to avoid hitting them while I am in my vehile due to transportation purposes! You are asking a question that imposses the intent to hit an animal unintentionaly. I love animals and wld never express harm to thm-when my family is at risk, I will do what it takes to keep myfamily safe veruses an animal!!!!!!!!!!!!

Often its far more advantageous to promote voluntary non legislative methods to protect endangered species.  If people are well educated they will not only 'not kill' endangered species but will go out of their way and invest their own land and resources to protect them.  One law meant to protect endangered species backfired in this region....it related to the burrowing owl....the legislation would stop landowners from cultivating and restrict other land uses on parcels of land which had burrowing owls.   As a result we heard some coffee shop talk to the effect that " in that case I'm going to get rid of those owls ....so the government doesn't come in and take control of my land".
